Hello My Name is Miranda

I once received a letter in a bottle from a friend who doesn't mind pushing the postal limits. It was certainly one of the more memorable letters I've had. Now imagine the delight of finding a message in a bottle that had washed up on the beach. That's just what happened to a Georgia couple recently. Twenty-nine years ago an eight year old girl named Miranda found that the ocean was too cold to play in on that wonderful day of her visit to the beach so, looking for something to do, she wrote a letter and sealed it in a bottle. The message was short but the impact it has today will not be forgotten by those involved.

Words matter and words last. Use them well. (And casting a few lines in a bottle at sea is a good use!)
