Brittain's Oldest Red Postbox

Britain's oldest red postbox is 161 years old, has survived two world wars, has seen five monarchs rule in Britain, and is scarcely larger than a three year old. I am completely charmed and have added an item to my "Things I Must See in Britain" list should I ever make the trip.

You can read all about it at DailyMail.com.

  1. I did enjoy this. I am going to write to the councillor and tell I think he did admirably in having the box restored!

    1. Go write that letter! He probably gets more letters of complaint than of encouragement; you'll make his day!
