Hand Canceled

I recently tried a new sealing wax, a J. Herbin stick I picked up at the art store. It apparently and unfortunately is not the mailable sort as correspondents have reported to me that my seals reach them in a...let's say...demolished state. I have reordered the former trusty wax and planned that in the mean time will ask that my letters be hand cancelled. I asked for this service for the first time yesterday and was pleased by the old-fashioned cancellation stamp the postal clerk used. I thought perhaps I may just continue pestering the post office this way brittle wax or not. Just a thought.
