Letters of Happy Memories

I've discovered a new genre of letters to write: the Letter of Happy Memories. This kind of letter brings me as much pleasure as the Random Kindness Letter and possibly a wee bit more. For my afternoon tea I chose a much neglected cup. It is not English china but it was the first of my small collection and was purchased years ago during a day trip to Cambria with a close friend. 

As I enjoyed my tea I reflected that but for the cup I might not even remember the time spent with my friend on that particular day. I'm so glad I bought this treasure. As I enjoyed my tea I made it tea time with my friend by writing a Letter of Happy Memories to her. What a lovely half hour. I hope my letter will quicken her memory to re-enjoy that day as I did.
