A Happy Mail Encounter

I had the pleasure of seeing this piece of mail and could only wish it had been mine to have and to hold. It was lovely in every particular but as always the stamps drew me in. One look at these Audrey Hepburn stamps and WOW was all I could say. That look was followed by a speechless stare. I was able to learn her year of issue was 2003 and while she immediately drew my attention, her ten cent friend just below is the more interesting stamp being issued circa 1947. Our winged friend to the left belongs to the American Butterflies series issued in 1977. This, my friends, is mail at its best and just seeing it made my day.
